Meet My Team!

Hey All!

We are only ONE days away from take off!!! I can't believe how fast lecture phase has gone!!

Prayer requests!

  • Still waiting for Stefain's and Joanne's visas to arrive!  Please be praying that the visas arrive soon!!
  • Health for the team.
  • Traveling mercies.
  • That we would love one another.
  • That we would grow in servanthood and humility.
  • In general, for our team :)

Well, I wanted to introduce you to my team of radical Jesus loving people!

Back Row: Marshall, Max, Josh
Front: Stefani, Jenn, Joanne, Me, Hannah, Jean
My Leaders!

Max is an amazing leader, who has a heart to see the lost around the world saved. He is one who isn't afraid of sharing the gospel and has much authority.  The Lord has already used him in many ways and will continue to do so.

Hannah grew up in a big family on the East Coast. She loves to cook!  Which is a big blessings for outreach.   She is seriously one of the most amazing people I know and I am so excited to be on her team!  I love her humility and love for everyone and her desire to not just know you, but to really get to know you.

Fellow Students

Joanne is from Australia and is an amazing woman of God! She is the quite one of the group, but when she opens her mouth, power and authority come out! I love Joanne and her boldness!

Stefani is Canadian! and that says a lot about her :) Just joking- Stef is an amazing woman of God who I can't wait to see where the Lord leads her!   She is one of those people that when you meet, you know you were meant to know!  I love her lots!

Jean doesn't waste words, she says what needs to be said and thats one of the many things I love about her!  I've had the privilege of rooming with her for the past three months and can't wait for the next three!

Josh is the comedian of the group, you can always find him saying or doing something to make the team laugh, which is good!  He is also amazing when it comes to working with children or preaching the simple gospel of Kingdom of Heaven- I'm so excited to see how the Lord uses him on this team!

Marshall + Jenn are a cute couple, who recently got married and came to do Comm Trans DTS together (well, actually Jenn did Comm Trans last year, so is technically staffing this year...)  They remind me so much of my cousins in Kansas City, so I love hanging out with them.  They add a lot of wisdom to the team (Marshal is a Bible scholar!)

God has blessed me with a totally amazing, Jesus loving, revival seeking, adventurous group of radical servants!  I am so so so excited to see how the Lord uses my team in the next few months!  Please keep us all in your prayers and when I have the chance (or internet) I will post updates :)

Blessings and thank you for all your prayers and support!

My God is a God who PROVIDES!!

These past few months God has been teaching me about completely trust in Him and His timing.   I have seen Him provide $9,595 in the past three months!  I came to my DTS with only $1,000 (which I had just made working on a film in Seattle) and having to rely on God to provide over $8,000!!!

So, I just want to say that when God says to trust Him, you got to!  I had 5 hours till $1467 was due, or I wouldn't be able to go on outreach and someone placed it in my account!  So I know who I can always trust.  Have faith in God and Him alone!!

DTS update :)

Discipleship Training School is so amazing! I don't even know where to start...

We just finished week 7 of 12, we leaned about The Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 13) and how simple the Gospel is to share with others!  When asked, Jesus said,

"And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9
 (Matthew 10:8-9)

We are told to "go" preach the Kingdom of Heaven, heal the sick, cleans the lepers and raise the dead.   But in todays culture, we try to over spiritualize the Kingdom of God, which is so simple and it is this- doing the will of God.   In Matthew 6:10 Jesus teaches us how to pray, saying,
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
10
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven..."

Our hearts cry is that God's Kingdom would come and His will would be done, here on earth, as it is in Heaven.  And in heaven, there is no sickness, no death, no tears- that is why we must pray for healing!  So what are we waiting for?

In exactly one month, I will be on a plane, headed to India!  I really can't believe how fast time flies when you are doing the will of God for your life!   I am so excited to go and help out at the Mother Theresa home and serve the people in Calcutta, India!

Here is our tentative schedule for India:
Dec 18- Leave Kona
Dec 21 - Arrive in New Delhi (3 days of travel!)
Jan 2- Travel to Calcutta (we will be there for 6 weeks)
Then we have a few other possible stops
Beg. March- Travel back to Kona

I so love the team that I am going with, we all get along really good and I know God hand picked our team!

Please be praying for us!
  • Health!  Most of the team has been struggling with health- one of the girls has a bad bug and others of us have had allergies/cold/eye problems.  We want complete health for this journey!
  • Increase Unity.
  • More team bonding.
  • Decrement for our amazing leaders, that they would know exactly where we should go/what to do while in India.
  • Protection from the enemy- that the devil would not interfere with any of our plans or continue to attack our health.
  • Finances!  There are a few of us that still need the rest of our outreach fees. (Me included) I need $1840
  • That God would begin to open the hearts of the people that we will be ministering to in India.
  • That we would be able to share about the Kingdom of Heaven!

During one of our fun DTS hang out time!

Community Transformations DTS Journal Entry

Can’t believe that we are in week five of twelve for DTS!  This week Brian Brennt has been sharing about freedom in my Community Transformations DTS.

I’ve grown up in an amazing Christian home and awesome parents, who have always been great examples of how to daily walk out our walk with the Lord.   I didn’t think that there was anything that I needed freedom from, but little did I know what the Lord wanted to speak to me!   We are going through Brian Brennt’s Freedom Manual book and the past week, we’ve been breaking off fear and passivity in our own lives- both of which I didn’t think I had problems with.  We went through a checklist of some things we fear…. Fear of man, fear of failure, fear of the future, fear of not doing the right thing, fear of _______ (the list could go on!)  And I begun to see that I had definite things that I was fearful of, strongholds that the enemy has used to hold me back from what God has called me to do!  After recognizing our fear, Brian took us through the four “R’s”-

Repeat for how you have partnered with Satan in the area fear.
Receive the Lord's forgiveness in that area!
Rebuke the enemy and tell him he no longer has a foothold of fear in your life.
Replace what the enemy has lied about with what God says.

So freeing!  We don’t have to have any fear in our life, but the fear of God!   We shouldn’t have fear of man, of speaking to people that the Lord tells us to go talk to! I use to think that I was just more of a quite person, not made to be the evangelist, or go do lots of street preaching/ ministry, because I was terrified of speaking to strangers!  But the Lord set me free from that fear! (I’m not saying that I’m called to always be on the street corner preaching, but I won’t be afraid to talk when the Lord asks me to!)

After breaking off fear, we broke off passivity.  Another area I didn’t realize the enemy had me! We broke up into small groups and again prayed and went through the four “R’s” and again I was amazed at how many things I was passive about in my life- passive about relationships, church, ministry, etc.   After we broke off passivity, we preached it to each other, it was such an amazing time of prayer and breakthrough for many people!

I’m so excited about what the Lord is doing in my life and what He will continue to do!  I feel so blessed to be here at YWAM Kona for this season.

*I definitely recommend Brian Brennt’s Freedom Manuel (you can order it here! http://store.citycentral.org/product_p/freedom1-1-07.htm )  It would be great for any individual, small group or church to go through!  Built on biblical foundations, it is incredible

I NEED your support!!!

I have always wondered how many people actually read my blog.... I guess I will never know...

First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has already given to me!

We found out where in India we are going!  We will be working at the Mother Teresa Home for the Poor and Destitute (http://www.motherteresa.org/layout.html) I am so excited (and a little nervous!) to be able to serve in that place!  Since I was really little, I've admired Mother Teresa and the work she did in India and around the world- I even wrote a couple school papers about her life and work :)  I love how selflessly she laid down her life for the sake of serving the "lowest" people in Calcutta.   But in order for me to get to that place, I need to raise money... and lots of it!  I have complete faith that the Lord will provide (I was given $300 today!!!) but I also need to pay my school fees (about $2500 left) and then roughly $5000 for outreach, so a total of about $7500.  I want to be able to do what the Lord has called me to do and not have to worry about finances. Will you partner with me and not only me, but also you will help me help the poorest of the poor in India.   IF you want more information, I would love to talk to you more about what is on my heart!

To India!

I'M GOING TO INDIA!!!!

The other day we found out where we will do a three month outreach after completing our three months of lecture in Kona, Hawaii with Youth with a Mission.  I am so excited that I get to go to India!

Let me tell you a little story....

I love India, I've never been there, but I still love it!  Years ago, the Lord placed India on my heart and told me that someday I would go there.  People use to (well, they still do...) ask me what I wanted to do when I "grew up" I would always say, "Be a missionary!"   I don't think too many people took me seriously... I got a lot of responses like, "Oh that's awesome, but what do you really want to do?" I would answer again, "Do missions for the Lord" and they would usually say something along the lines of, "Well, you do know that you need a 'real' job- like maybe a doctor or teacher?"   I would think about it and there have been different times I my life that I have thought more seriously about doing university, but never felt peace... So I decided that I was just going to follow the Lord and go where He would lead me and if that includes some form of higher education later on, then awesome!

Anyways, back to India... :) So, for a long time India has been on my heart - I had a picture of their flag and a map on my bullitin board, along with a sheet of paper that I had written down ideas for a orphanage/compound for children (on that compound I wanted a medical clinic, school and people to give the children skills to succed in life.)   So coming into Discipleship Training School (DTS) I wanted to go to India if that was an option for outreach.

On Wednesday afternoon the locations were revealed and there were about 15 location!  I wish I could just go to them all!   We had about 20 minutes to pray and ask the Lord where He wanted us to go and write down our top two choices and submit them to our leaders.  I go to sit down and pray and I hear the word "New York City" which is one of the locations.  I was like, "Lord, is that you?"  I kept praying and only thing I could hear was, "New York City."  I wrestel with the Lord, trying to tell Him where I wanted to go (which, by the way isn't smart, because He always wins :)  I finally put down my locations: 1) New York City  2) India.   It was probably one of the hardest things I've done, because I had no desire, what so ever, to go to NYC.   So, over the next 48 hours, I kept praying that the Lord would send me where He wanted me to go and not only where I wanted to go.  Friday night finally came around and we were sent on a treasure hunt to find out teams and then from there, locations were revealed and team leaders.   When I heard that I was going to India, I was esthetic!  I couldn't believe that the Lord granted me the desire of my heart (which He had given me!), because I thought for sure that I was headed towards NYC!  I felt like after I heard where I was going, the Lord said, "Anna, I was testing you to see if you would listen to me and do what I ask you to do, even know you had a desire to go to India, you trusted me and put down NYC" It felt like a Abraham and Isaac story.

So... Sometime around December 19th I will travel with my amazing team of 9 (including staff) to India!  We don't know for sure where we are going within India, but we will be praying about it the next few months.

I stil need about $8000 to complete lecture and then outreach, please pray about supporting me, with prayer and financially :)

Love you guys and thank you for praying and supporting me in all that God has done and is doing in my life!

Off on an Adventure!

Moving.  A scary, exciting, thrilling, hectic, fun, nerve-racking time for all involved.  I have never really had to move, to uproot from a place I love.  (Ok, well I was born outside of Seattle, WA and when I was about one and half, moved about an hour North to a beautiful little Island and wonderful community.)   I’ve grown up here on beautiful Camano Island and had the chance to learned about life here.  Along the way, met some amazing people that helped shape my life; who mentored me, encouraged me and supported me.  I’ve been taught by some pretty amazing teachers over the past twelve years of homeschooling, but nothing could have prepared for me what was to come.

We all knew that the Lord was about to uproot our family- He had already show many of us, we were just waiting for a destination and timing.    When Kansas City became a possibility, I was overjoyed!  I have many good friends and close family that I wanted to be with.  There was the possibility of dance, work and school.  I was beyond excited! (so were the people I loved, who live there).

The whole, “We’re moving to Kansas City” thing began mid-April and was pretty much finalized by the beginning of May.  (I think the Lord likes to put us on a fast track when He has something in store for our family!)  Then at the beginning of May, over about a two week period of time, the Lord did a 180 with us, changing our course from East to West.  Ya, I know- I’m about as far ‘West’ as we can go.. well that is if you stay on the ‘Mainland’.  The Lord, through an amazing series of events, begin to call our family towards Kona, Hawaii, to work with Youth with a Mission (YWAM- http://uofnkona.org/)

(Ok, I know what you're thinking- “Who wouldn’t want to live in Hawaii, be a beach bum, eat tropical fruit all day and surf?”)  Well, as excited as I was, I was also sad.  I had so much I was looking forward to in Kansas City!  Now, I’m headed to a place, where I know no one and really don’t have a ‘place’- I like knowing what I’m going into.  And one thing about Hawaii is I have NO idea what I’m going to do or what I’ve gotten myself into :)  No, I will not be a beach bum, but I do hope to learn how to surf!

So... On July 12th, our family will be leaving Washington for a little (2ish years) while.  (Oh.. did I mention that we kinda have a ‘large’ family, there are only 11 of us) So that is no small task in itself.  You try moving a whole softball team :)  Our house currently reminds me of a maze, each day there is some new piece of furniture (or pile of boxes) stacked in random (well, at this point, anywhere you can find a free space) areas of our house.  Now that we have a departure date (which is... wait, let me calculate the exact.. oh never mind... less then 3 weeks away) we actually have to accomplish some of the many goals on our ‘To-Do list’ (which as you might have guessed, grows by the uh, hour) but we have (and will continue) to accomplish much!

Please keep my family in your prayers!
  • Almost everyone is excited, but some are having a harder time with leaving the farm (and their beloved animals)
  • That the Family would stay joyful over the remaining few days here (we want good last memories of our home!)
  • Peace and unity (we can get so much more done when everyone is working together!)
  • That we would find the right renters for our house
  • Some of the final details would fall into place
  • That we would continue to rely and trust God to provide our needs.
  • That we would grow closer as a family while in Hawaii.
  • Good weather these last few weeks (garage sale this weekend!)
  • Restful sleep for everyone.
  • An easy transitions for everyone

As much as I will miss everyone I count as friends and the things I love to do (like dance!) dearly, I know that God is 110% in this all, so that makes it exciting!! We are off on another adventure!

OK, I think that’s enough for now :)  I should probably sign off (before I fall asleep!) and I noticed that I used a lot of (parentheses) in this post... sorry :)

Well, until next time, Aloha! (Aloha means both “hello” and “goodbye” in case you were wondering :)

Graduation Speech

I thought that I would share with you the speech I gave at Graduation on May 20th :)

Fellow graduates, have you ever wondered...
Why did God place us, the graduating class of 2012, into this generation in history?  Do you sometimes wonder why we were created and why does it mean anything at all, if we are just going to die?  Because, at some point, we will all die and stand before a terrifying beauty and give an account of how we spent our time on earth.  Did we learn to love? To give? To care? And To stand in awe of our fascinating Creator?

From the beginning of time, God has raised up young men and women, who would listen to His voice and open His commands.

As a young adult, the shepherd David trusted God’s words to him and believed that God would fight for him. David became a superhero when he gathered five smooth stones and his slingshot and went out against the giant, Goliath, killing him and saving Israel.

Then there was Esther, a young orphaned, jewish peasant, who was forcibly taken into King Xerxes home.  God hand picked her, out of the hundreds of contestants, to be queen of Persia.  When an evil plot was devised to wipe out the Jewish population, the Lord had positioned Esther as queen, so that she could save His people from genocide.

Those are just two youth that God used to save a nation.  They were both part of a generation of those who sought Him.  But those two had a choice; they could have said, “I’m not qualified to do this tasks. ” But they trusted God and because of that, Israel was saved multiple times.    I once heard it said, “God doesn’t call the qualified, but qualifies the called.”

According to recent research, 96% of our generation who grew up in the church, has or will abandon the faith of their family by the time they are 18 years old.  We here maybe a part of the surviving 4% who are still worshiping Jesus.  But we can no longer live off of our parent's faith. It is time to decide whom each of us will serve.

Psalm 24 says,
"Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This  is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face."

So... my question for you today is this:  Are you allowing Jesus to direct your steps?  Do you trust Him enough to do whatever He asks you to? Do you want to be a part of the generation that sought out God?

Our generation has its own modern day giants, that that Lord has given us to slay;
- At this very moment, over 27 million men, women and children are trapped in modern day slavery, worldwide.
- Every year, over 14,000 girls are trafficked into the United States, with thousands more enslaved within our borders.
- Roughly, 175,000 people die of hunger each week, globally.
- And almost 4,000 pre-born babies are killed in America, every single day.

Do you hear the call to our generation? Do you know the powerful and exciting one that made you for something extraordinary? We can be a generation that partners with the God of justice.  What if you were placed into this generation, for such a time as this?

Exciting Family News!

Below is a letter that my parents sent out about our exciting family news!

Hello again friends & family-

It's official ...  As some of you have heard by now -  Just as the LIenau family was happily proceeding with a July move to Kansas City, we were abruptly re-routed in the opposite direction!

While recently celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in Kona, Hawaii, we had  some unplanned visits with YWAM/ University of Nations, and over the past 4 weeks, to our surprise, delight and sadness, we've heard the whisper of the Lord to become part of the work at UofN's Film Institute for the next season.

This redirection is not really surprising with our 30-year YWAM roots and our clear calling to be working in feature film (not to mention Michael's attraction to volcanoes), but we have really wrestled with letting go our plan to be a part of the IHOP community, The Daniel Academy and close to family and good friends in KC.

At the point of most confusion about the change of direction, we were fasting and praying and received this word:
Resist the temptation to get into condemnation when things don't turn out as you expected they would.  Those things that you perceive as being mistakes serve to set the boundaries of your spiritual flow.  I would have you pay attention to those boundaries and rejoice in receiving course corrections.  I am with you to keep you on the narrow path to your destiny, says the Lord.
Proverbs 3:11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, nor detest His correction. (SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND/MARSHA BURNS)

Our family, friends and trusted intercessors have confirmed what the Lord has been showing us...  The uprooting piece was right, the timing was right, we just got the direction wrong... Kona, not KC is our next assignment!
We are uncertain how all this will come together, but hope to be in Hawaii early July and are currently praying for renters for our farm on Camano Island.  Details of how all will be covered financially is a matter of prayer and trusting Father, but we know He will provide every thing we need to obey Him in this assignment.   We've been asked to make a two year commitment -

So, while our hearts are partly in KC, our feet will go from Camano to another island, and we hope to be part of the exciting move of the Lord bridging the prayer movement with the missions movement, and our specific mission, Family and the Media/Entertainment mountain.

 Need pray for:
- Purging and packing
- Rental of house/cabin
- Housing in Kona for family by Sept.
- School resources for Corina, Esther, Josh at
- School provision for Bibi, Janey, Joe and Tatsi with ICS
- Wisdom for transition of business
- Continued peace and excitement for kids

From Washington DC

Hey All!

Today I, along with about half of the Back to Life Movement girls and some local Bound4Life people, read the entire Bible, split up in to 20-30 chapters per person (most of the girls who couldn't be here in DC, were able to call in and read their assigned reading). After reading our 30 chapters, we all met at the Supreme Court and did a life siege (Bound4LIFE) and prayed and interceded for America and that ObamaCare wouldn't pass (if passed, it would skyrocket the number of abortions). After that we all went to a general of intercession, Dick Simmons, where he prayed for us and shared some of what he has been doing in the past 20 years.

For the Bible reading, I was assigned to read 2 Chronicles 17, all the way through Ezra. In the end of 2 Chronicles, after reading about many kings that had done evil in the eyes of the Lord and not followed the laws that the Lord had given Moses and forsaken God; God appointed a young boy, Josiah, who was only 8 years old to be King of Israel. Josiah, at a young age, turned Israel back to the Lord God! At 18 years old, Josiah had the Temple restored/rebuilt and in the Temple they found the Law of the Lord (the Torah) and when Josiah read the Law, he tore his clothes and wept, because Israel had disobey the Lord. In one generation, Josiah turn Israel back to their God and saved them from destruction.

Lord I ask that you would raise up a Josiah generation, ones who would seek You and turn a nation back to You! Ones that would contend with the spirits of this age and fight for justice and righteousness in our Nation. Who knows if this generation was born for such a time as this?

What's Next?

What's next? That is a question that I have been asking myself over and over again. As I try to begin to process all that happened over the past few months, the only thing that I know for sure is that we serve an awesome God!

Trying to do what we did with the Back to Life Movement without God would be nearly impossible! I believe that He gave each and every one of the team members supernatural strength. Yes, there were many days that we were exhausted at the end of the day, but we would wake up refreshed and ready to walk the next day. Our God is a God who protects! Not only from the tornado, but from major injuries within the team. I never had any blister or foot problem. (Yes, my feet were sore at the end of the day...but that just comes with walking 12-15 miles a day.)

As for me, I don't know what is next in my life...I graduate from high school in just a few weeks and have nothing planned in the future, but I know that I serve an awesome God who has some plan in mind for me, even if I don't know all the details yet :)

As for the near future, I will be traveling to Washington, DC to pray in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. The reason? The court will be ruling on the ObamaCare Heathcare bill sometime soon and that bill, if passed, would skyrocket the number of abortions in the United States. Out of the nine justices, four are pro-life and four are pro-abortion. One, Justice Kennedy, is the sway vote. We are praying that Justice Kennedy would see the value of LIFE and make the right vote.

The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Lord, we are asking that Your justice would reign supreme in our country, that rightness would be the law that governs our land, and that we would return to You.

Psalm 91

Every morning before we started walking for the Back to Life Movement Walk, we would read Psalm 91 and pray for protection over the team.  We were saved from propane leaks in the motor home, tornados, severe heat, sever weather in general and no major injuries!! We serve a GREAT God!  The Lord really protected the 39 walks, staff and media team :)

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his pinions,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
You will not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—
the Most High, who is my refuge—
10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”

I did not take this photo,
got it off of a local news website.
This is the tornado that was less then a mile away...
Talk about protection!

Justice Journey: Update

Even though this segment of the Back to Life Movement journey has just ended, the Lord is birthing something new in me. During the 250 mile walk, a spiritual leader gave the team a word that each of the 39 women were going to birth a movement; that the walk was only the beginning of what God was going to do in our lives.

When I was praying about what the Lord wanted me to do, He reminded me of a dream I had a few years ago...

In this dream, I was driving up to the top of this hill in a city and on top of the hill was a white church.  I went inside and saw that it resembled more of a courthouse on the inside, or an old church.

Along the wall on the right, an art display was set up. There were lots of people in the church--some were chatting, some were looking at the art, some were just standing or sitting .

There were three sections of pews: right, center and left.  The middle section was filled with children, all different sizes and color.  My adopted siblings were front and center. In the front of the church were pink and blue boxes with lids and each box had a blanket coming out of one corner.

On the front stage was a judge with a gavel in his hand.  I tried asking some of the people who were standing around what was going on, but no one would answer me; it was like I didn't exist or they would just change the subject.  I knew that something wasn't right, I could feel it in my spirit, an uneasiness and fear. I finally got so fed up with the people that I stormed out of the church.

I drove down the hill and the Lord said to me, "Where do you think you're going? Turn around and tell my people (the Church) to wake up!"  I pulled into a McDonald’s (which means, "world ruler") parking lot and did a u-turn and drove back up the hill.

I parked, ran up the steps of the church, grabbed the two huge doors, yanked them open and yelled inside, "WAKE UP!"  The dream ended and I woke up.

What I feel like the dream means:

I feel like the art display represented that the church is too occupied with the world, with the arts (as in Hollywood/movies) and has lost its first love (God).

The middle section of children represents the foster care system/adoption and the boxes represent unborn babies/abortion.

I felt like the Lord said that the Church would rather sweep the thousands of waiting children under the carpet and have someone (the government) worry about them.  Also, few pastors will speak up about adoption or abortion.  The Bible commands us to take care of orphans and those in distress and be a voice for the voiceless. (Isaiah 58).

The people who were in the church are Christians who are complacent, who would rather stay in their American dream bubble.  The judge I feel is God, who is standing, ready to judge the American Church for her sins of not really caring for the fatherless and those in distress.

God is looking for a generation that will stand in the gap and pray for the ending of abortion and care for the orphans.  America will be judged according to how we did or didn’t stand up for those who have no voice.

I want to be on the right side of history and am praying that my voice will be heard!

"For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise... from another place... And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14 ESV)
