Our God is a God who protects!

Today we walked into Dallas County and about an hour later, a tornado struck. This wasn't just a small little nothing tornado- this was a multi- tornado ordeal.

We had just finished walking and loaded up on our bus. We started driving and it started pouring down rain! Nate, our trainers husband was in a car behind us and called her and said we had to pull off the next exit right away. The bus driver started to exit, but stopped. She said, "I've never like Flying-J" and kept going. (backing up a little... Our bus driver was suppose to drop us off at our start point, take our luggage to the hotel and then be done, but she felt like she should stay with us, because we didn't have our motorhome. And she did!) So our driver goes two more exits down and pulled into a truck stop. All 39 women (and a few staff) all ran inside. We prayed and wait. Meanwhile, the media team is doing the 1pm live feed at our end point and our security guy (Mr. Mark) tells them to leave, because of an approaching tornado! We are in the gas station watching the news (at one point, we were huddleding in a back hallway) and saw that just two exits behind us (where we were originally going to pull off) the truck stop had trucks overturned and cars scattered everywhere! Our God is so good! We were so close to the middle of the tornado! But we prayed and God heard and protected us!

We literally had two tornados following us today. The very exit we almost stopped at to take cover was destroyed, 18 wheelers taken up in the air. We had just entered Dallas. I truly believe, these tornados were looking for us Back To Life girls... BUT GOD protected us. They say, "Texas hasn't seen tornados like this since 1973", which is the year Roe v. Wade was legalized. We are coming to overturn the death decree of 1973 in Dallas!
